They say 'never say never' and I also say “once a breeder, always a breeder”.
Well, after breeding over 400 ESB horses (Irish Sport Horses) since 1986, I thought I was done, however circumstances have altered slightly and I am now launching ESB ponies.
There are several reasons for this which I won't bore you with unless you ask. This has been fuelled by clients who were on a never-ending search for a smaller version of ESB horses with the same quality, type, temperament and performance.
I have always loved the Irish horses and admired their history, evolution and attributes. The Connemara pony is now more suited to my aging body and interests.
I am very grateful to Catherine Hollingworth for the opportunity to stand her lovely pure bred Connemara stallion, Wychwood Silver Swift at Euroa Horse Park.
